Pyotr Belenok

Born in 1938 in the village of Korogod. He graduated from the Kyiv Art School and studied at the Kyiv State Art Institute from 1957 to 1963, specializing in sculpture. In 1967, he moved to Moscow and became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR that same year. Belenok's first solo exhibition in Moscow took place in 1972 at the famous "Sinyaya Ptitsa" (Blue Bird) cafe.
