Olga Bulgakova
Olga Bulgakova was born on January 30, 1951, in Moscow into a family of artists. Her parents, Vasily and Matilda Bulgakov, became her first and primary teachers.
From 1962 to 1969, she studied at the Moscow Secondary School of Art (MSKhSh).
In 1975, she graduated from the Surikov Art Institute (the studio of Professor D. K. Mochalsky).
She began participating in exhibitions in 1972. In 1976, she was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR, and since 1993, she has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
In 2007, she was elected a Corresponding Member, and in 2012, an Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts (Painting Department).
She is a bureau member of the Painting Department of the Russian Academy of Arts.
She lives and works in Moscow.
