Nadezhda Krestinina

Nadezhda Krestinina was born in Sochi in 1962.

In 1984, she graduated from the theatrical department of the Moscow 1905 Memorial Art School; she studied painting under M.M. Bulgakova and Yu.N. Larin.

She began exhibiting her artwork in 1987. Since then, she has held over 30 solo exhibitions. Her works have been showcased in Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, and other countries.

She has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1992, the UNESCO International Federation of Artists since 1992, the International Arts Fund since 1996, and the Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques (Paris). In 2002, she was awarded a Diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts for her series of still lifes.

In 2005, at the invitation of the French Ministry of Tourism, she traveled across the Brittany region as part of a creative collective.

Following the trip, the book Brittany Through the Eyes of Russian Artists was published by Ouest-France, accompanied by a series of exhibitions in France and Moscow. Between 2011 and 2015, she participated in the Volga Plein Air sessions, which culminated in the "Russian Nile" project. This project was exhibited at various Russian museums and galleries, including the Radishchev State Art Museum in Saratov and the Museum of 20th and 21st Century St. Petersburg Art.

She lives and works in Moscow.
