Alexander Suvorov
Born in Moscow in 1947. He graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Surikov Institute (1960–1966) and later earned a degree from the Faculty of Graphics at the Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute (1969–1975).
Suvorov is a prominent figure in the Russian art community: an Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts (Graphics Department, since 2012; Corresponding Member since 2007) and an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2016). He has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1977, as well as a member of the Moscow Union of Artists (MSKh) and the Moscow Organization of the Union of Artists (MOSKh) since 1997.
