On April 21, 2026, the Schusev State Museum of Architecture hosted the opening of the exhibition «Along the Way».

Curated by Ksenia Lagoiskaya and Olga Marutyan, the exhibition features 50 paintings by the artist alongside 12 original graphic works by renowned architects from the museum’s collection.

The project offers the viewer two perspectives on the travel experience: Nadezhda Krestinina’s emotional statement on how people inhabit the journey, and an analytical excursion into the history of railway architecture.

As Natalia Shashkova, Director of the Museum of Architecture, noted: «Since ancient times, time spent on the road has been perceived as a special human experience. In the 'Along the Way' exhibition, we offer two perspectives on travel: an artist’s emotional statement and an analytical excursion into the history of railway architecture. Perhaps through this project, viewers will gain a new experience, looking with fresh eyes at their fellow travelers or the scenes unfolding outside the train window.»

The opening has already been featured by leading cultural media outlets. Below is a compilation of the latest press coverage.

Kultura (Culture) Newspaper

«The exhibition includes 50 paintings by the artist and 12 original graphic works by renowned architects from the Museum of Architecture’s collection. The works from the 'Public Transport' series capture well-known characters — train passengers and incidental companions met along the way.»
